Project Eggshell spawned from half-a-shitpost during a Discord swadge work group around October 2022. The swadge team wanted to make a plastic shell add on to the 20th anniversary game system offered at Super MAGFest in January 2023. Using my mechanical design and PCB integration skills and the intense work ethic of my partner-in-crime for this endeavor @justintroubleagain, we designed and fabricated 200 "Eggshells" to be sold alongside the swadges at the merch booth.

I designed the shell, created social media copies advertising the add on, and coordinated delivery and distribution on site. 

For 2024 I took on more of a project management role for the swadge shell. Thanks to the contributions of 3D printing guru @eriktronic and designer and developer @gplord, we were able to source injection molded pieces for the 2024 instead of 3D printed. This enabled us to have more creative freedom with the shell design and reduce cost to the organization. We will be offering over 1000 of these to MAGFest attendees at the Fangamer booth for a cost.
