One of the most challenging parts of entering a hobby or area of expertise is navigating the strange jargon and rules of thumb that everyone else seems to know. Attendees will learn these terms and how to stay safe while putting electronics in their costume or prop with this panel.

This panel is designed for novices who have basic exposure to electronics. This panel highlights the different products available online to integrate into your cosplay costumes. Lights, sound makers, motion, and more will be showcased with recommendations on how to power and program them. Examples from previous projects will be showcased.

This panel is designed for attendees who have some circuits knowledge (ie, if they attended E201, have used a breadboard before, or if they have used electronics in their costume before) and want to tidy their costumes with PCBs. This panel teaches attendees the parts of a printed circuit board, introduces programs used to design them, and gives recommendations on how to manufacture them. Examples will be shown from previous works.

Attendees will learn how to build a circuit card assembly. PCBs, components, solder, and tools will be provided. PCB will have basic functions such as lights, buttons, a buzzer, etc.

Learn about all the ways 3D printers and their products should not be used for cosplay with a self-reflection of 5 years of attempting to use 3D printers for cosplay props and accessories. This is a panel for beginners and intermediates with some 3D printing exposure who would like to learn how to use them for their projects more effectively. 5-7 common errors in designing, printing, and finishing will be discussed along with recommended solutions derived from crafting sins the panelist has committed with their 3D printers.
